"You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection."

Life will, at one time or another, put us face to face with great suffering. Whether it be the loss of a loved one, a health challenge, a debilitating addiction, or a myriad of other ways we as humans suffer-these are the times in life when we are given the opportunity to ask the BIG questions. What really matters? When will this pain stop?  What is my purpose? These challenging times can cause a person to sink into despair and develop defenses for the overwhelming emotional experience,  Or...it can catapult them into a new paradigm that requires they dig deeper and live differently.

Multiple losses and challenges in my own life provided me with opportunities to strategize about how to meet the sufferings that we must all endure. Though not evident at the time, I have come to realize that the openness created through being present with loss serves as a gateway to more fully experiencing life.  Having an established spiritual practice and a loving connection with yourself provides a priceless refuge during trying times while also allowing you to appreciate life's many joys.

Through spiritual mentorship I assist client's in deriving greater meaning from life and in learning spiritual practices that encourage deeper connection with self and others. Learning to be present allows even the seemingly mundane to become moments of meaningful connection. More importantly, finding security and validation through self-relationship shifts our focus inward and restores our personal power. Bringing this embodied presence to our relationships, personally and professionally, can dramatically shift the quality of our lives and lead to greater harmony and flow.
